Apr ‘24 - NAR: Negotiating A Remedy

Hello Friends! In light of the recent Sitzer-Burnett vs. NAR (National Association of Realtors) antitrust settlement case, you may have heard this will bring some changes in the real estate industry. Although the settlement is going through the final court approval, we are preparing for new policies to take into effect in mid July. I wanted to take this approach head on and touch on this subject directly with you. For my buyers, the NAR will require any buyers who tour any property to sign a Buyer-Broker agreement prior to touring any properties. Included in the Buyer-Broker agreement lists the Buyer's Obligation, Broker's Obligation, my fiduciary duties and responsibilities, and the compensation I receive for my services. For my sellers, please note that marketing the buyer's broker compensation can NOT be listed in the MLS. However, the buyer's agent compensation can be marketed outside of the MLS i.e. social media, email, digital ads, print ads, and more. To my active clients, as we navigate through this transitional period, you'll be hearing from me personally to get you up to speed. You'll hear it here first. Juggerknot Theatre Presents: Conjuring the King From the creators of Miami Motel Stories, an immersive theatrical experience about fandom will be playing until the end of April. Conjuring the King is a one woman show that will take you through a journey of the Miami Elvis "Fan Club".
