Major Companies Securing Key Commercial Leases in Miami Beach

This year's March is certainly getting a new marketing facelift. If you've been online, it's hard to miss the concept of "demarketing" Miami Beach as a Spring Break destination. You may have seen some of these ads where it specifically statess, "It's not us, it's you. We clearly want different things." A message to share the locals aren't seeking the rowdy spring breakers. Luckily Miami Beach has so much to offer beyond the spring breaker crowd. As Miami Beach can be crowned as a leisure destination, some of the latest blue chip tenants in commercial buildings are gaining some attention as well. Luxury watch brand Audemars Piguet signs a lease at the one of a kind Eighteen Sunset in Sunset Harbour. With 40,000 SF of Class A office space, this mixed use building will have retail on the ground floor, office space, and a penthouse with a roof top deck. New York based hedge fund J Goldman & Co just locked in one of Miami Beach's most expensive lease to be expected to come onto market. Located in the South of Fifth district, the Class A office building is expected to have five floors encompassing a total of 60,000 SF at an average rent of $170/SF. As more companies continue to open office spaces in Miami, the market continues to point towards an optimistic future.

Let me introduce you to Wind Addict, a full service kiteboarding school with IKO certified instructors. This past weekend, I had the chance to experience my third lesson with them and they really deserve a shout out. Taking off from the Rickenbacker Causeway, the crew will take you out into Stiltesville to provide a safe setting for beginners. With water that reaches hip length, this helps create the perfect atmosphere for intermediate level learners. The instructors will teach you about kite control, increase your knowledge about the equipment and how to read the atmosphere and conditions of the wind. They provide you with all the gear (excluding wetsuits) and radio headset so you're in constant communication with your instructor. This experience has unlocked a whole new part of the Miami, but also the world. I hope to see you out there in the water 🤙🏼
