Hello Friends!
Summer travels are in full swing. As we take a break from our daily reality, we return with a feeling of gratitude to be able to call Miami our home. It doesn't feel as if vacation ends when you're living in the Magic City. With access to glistening beaches, vibrant city life, world class shopping, and plenty of dining options available - this is truly the city that everyone comes to vacation. After a personal trip to Bali, Indonesia it was magical to be in another beachside destination. Although on the opposite side of the world, there are characteristics that align with both locations. A local popularity that keeps the city balanced economically, the heavy reliance on tourism & attractions, beachside haven for those that are looking for a waterfront escape, and lastly the opportunity for real estate. Developers and investors realize the opportunity and position their income strategy on highly sought on destinations on thriving cities. What used to be viewed as a "slow" season, I believe Miami has a new wave of HEAT coming in. With an established reputation of the city, resilient housing market trending with growth on price, businesses moving to South Florida, I am excited for the remaining half of the year.

What a delightful tasting menu that I got to experience with my friend Teresa. Us being beach-side residents ventured out to Coral Gables and tried the 6 course Chef's tasting menu ($95) over the Executive Tasting Menu ($225). We had it without the wine pairing as we wanted to skip out on drinking that evening, but they had this option available for you foodies out there. The service is spectacular and the ingredients chosen are well thought out. It started out light with each dish getting heavier, finishing off with a delicious key lime pie. The setting was intimate and majority of the seats were taken on a Friday night. Reservation highly recommended for those looking to doing the tasting menu.
